How Can severe Abdominal Pain Be Treated?

My husband age 67, developed abdominal. pain while on a Caribbean cruise one week ago. Ships Dr. treated him with IV flagyl and Levaquin due to elevated white count and localized pain to right upper abdomen. He's following their diet suggestion for an inflamed gall bladder, but he wants to wait till Monday day to see Dr. He also has chronic afib. Is there harm in waiting 2 more days?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
It really depends upon what is going on. Always with abdominal pain, especially if it is severe, there is a chance that some surgery is needed. It is best for him to see a doctor as soon as possible.
Regards
